Established in February 2010 our company set about developing a new brand with our first site being located in Birmingham’s city centre.
There has been a wealth of inspiration behind the concept and development of our brand; it is quite literally a blend of ideas, cultures, products and services which have been taken from various parts of the world.
Cafe Blend is an independent retailer offering individuals and groups a sophisticated venue in which to relax and enjoy our speciality coffees, teas, beers and English wines. We are a licensed boutique coffee bar offering table service as well as an “express counter” where you will be able to get your favourite coffee on-the-go!
We are also available to hire for functions and will be taking bookings so please see in store for details.
We have one simple philosophy that we will deliver daily; quality products, quality service and a unique experience guaranteed to satisfy any coffee lover! With a wide range of hot and cool beverages you will be spoilt for choice.
The only coffee shop to offer a cooked brunch menu everyday until 2pm.
We offer a wide selection of pastries and sweets, however, if you are looking for something a little bit different - have a peruse over the brunch menu. Our menu items cover a range of traditional hot brunch items to products that have been inspired from further afield.
We are committed to offering our customers the finest coffee experience with most of our products being sourced from the local area. We aim to use products that will benefit society both environmentally and economically including our communities surrounding the Midlands and those who have sourced our coffee beans by using rain forest alliance and fairly-traded products.

The Perfect Shot of Espresso!
We have beautifully blended arabica beans that have been handed picked from the finest green beans!
The coffee beans that we use have been sourced from three different origins to create a flavour that could not be achieved through just one single bean. The blend combines flavours from El Salvador, Brazil and India.
Our coffee bean supplier is passionate about coffee; the quality and the detail to produce a unique flavour and an unbeatably smooth and rich texture with hints of caramel. The beans are roasted between 3 - 21 days before we supply Birmingham with the freshest tasting coffee served in a stylish way with a naughty sweet surprise!
Espresso beans, like all good things in life, will deteriorate with age. Cafe Blend only grinds the beans on demand so when you order either one of our classic blends to-go or any of our coffee cocktails to sit in; you can be sure that you are getting the freshness and maximum taste from our beans.
In order to produce the perfect espresso in your favourite coffee we take a little extra time to make your order so that we never compromise the quality of the bean.
We pride ourselves in supplying our guests with the best coffee and a unique collection of cocktails to choose from! So just sit down and wait for your barista to come to you and take your order!
Each of these cocktails have been brought back from various parts of the world - for a taste of India try our Affagato, for Singapore try our Melloccino and if you prefer something more simple try our flat whites which originated from New Zealand.
